I wonder how their episodes aired in relation to the cycle for nominations.
I may be reading this wrong but it looks like the eligibility period was 6/1/15 to 5/31/16. Faith aired 5/21/16 and I really think Caitriona Balfe deserved at least a nomination for that episode.
Ok yeah. That is BS. That episode was freaking amazing.

I am also pretty surprised that Jonathan Banks got the nomination over Michael McKean for Better Call Saul. I love them both but I think Michael McKean knocked it out of the park this year.
There is so much good TV. The Americans and Orphan Black are at the top of my must watch list, after I finish up Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Which reminds me that Rachel Bloom is a glaring omission from that list.
I am so thrilled that Rami Malek got nominated. I have to watch last night's premier of mr. robot but he is so good in that role. Looks like a lot of underdogs that people have been hoping to get nominations finally got their due.
