Help settle a debate between DH and I.  We get to WDW late on a Thursday, I currently hold two CRT reservations for Friday, one for lunch (11:30 am) and one for dinner (5:30 pm.)  We will also be attending MNSSHP that night and plan to change into costumes.  Which reservation would you keep?

11:30. I would not want to miss party time at dinner and with a 5:30 you potentially could. Plus if you want to meet a super popular character lining up before the party is better then using party time waiting in line

Honestly, unless you have super limited park time - I'd do neither and just do the pool, hotel, maybe disney springs that day. You can still do a character breakfast or lunch at a resort.

If I had to choose, I'd choose 11:30 and go straight back to the room.

Were you planning to be in the MK all day that day? How late does DD stay up? I'll be the dissenter and say 5:30. I like to take it easy on party days and then get there when the party is in full swing. And then we stay as late as possible.

The parties start at 7:00. It shouldn't take over 90minutes for a pre-plated dinner.

I don't know, it seems like such a waste of money to pay double for the MK that day.

Pretty sure they have AP's so it's easy for them to come and go.  Otherwise I'd agree.

Although, depending on how long you stay the price of an additional day isn't very much.  I think we paid an additional $30 this trip to stay 6 nights instead of our usual 5.  However, we are only a family of three so that makes a huge difference! 

I'd do the 11:30.  CRT is usually a fairly long meal and I think you would miss out on being able to line up early for the special parades and meet and greets.
