CP 1550, but really easy to catch, just 1 raspberry and 1 ultraball.

That's awesome, congrats!! I would be super stoked for the Magmar and absolutely ELATED to catch a Snorlax. I want one sooooo bad.

Fiiiiinally hatched a pikachu out of a 2k egg! It happened while I was driving and Declan was holding the phone in the backseat so I thought he was fucking with me. I was really happy.

And caught my first Lickitung last night during work! I clocked out for my lunch and instead of sitting down and eating, I ran all over the damn hospital chasing the Lickitung silhouette. Lol, not so smart, I was hungry and tired by 7 am! But the kids were elated, it was worth it.

I'm at ~90 candies on a lot of exciting evolutions (vileplume, victreebell, nidoqueen, poliwrath.) The kids will be with their dad this weekend so maybe I'll go hunt the last few down so we can have a lucky egg evolving party when they get back.

Awww that's really sweet for you to go hunting and save the evolutions for your kids. I bet they'll be really excited. DS (age 4.5) loves my Vileplume, he calls it my "eggplant flower."

Sometime I evolve stuff without them and tell them I caught it. Oops. But they've been keeping track of these 100-candy ones so I guess I'll let them hit the buttons this time

Can I play here? I was on the boards for years, deactivated to take care of myself, came back and mostly posted in H&F until I moved and was no longer healthy or fit

I've been playing for a while- I'm not nearly advanced as y'all but I stay home with 2 kids and no car, so we basically walk the same two or three routes and catch the same crap all the time. I've read this thread in its entirety and have gotten some great tips! I'm not a big battler- more of a collector so don't laugh at my lineup. I'm just starting to figure out gyms- but I'm not a high enough level to hold one around here anyways. They move hands too quickly.

I'm so excited though, because today we are headed to Coronado Island which is supposed to be a hot spot for Pokemon! I'm hoping to catch some new to me- and additional water mons to collect candies.

So here's my sad little lineup. I evolved the Arcanine from the first Pokemon I ever caught, so he's special to me lol. Even if he sucks (I have no idea) I'll keep powering him up and keep him forever. Growliths, sandshrews, geodudes, doduo, , machops, and ponytas are abundant here. And I've seen two Aerodactyls but only caught one.

Hello and welcome dit16! Always great to talk to new trainers. Thanks for sharing your lineup. I'm jealous of your Golem, I've only ever hatched a few Geodudes, never wild caught one. I'm attached to my Arcanine too I caught him on the side of the road on the way to DH's office. 1800 CP (at the time), my strongest Pokemon! He has the worst moveset (fire fang/bulldoze) but I loooove him anyway. He's mine.

mpc that Parasect moveset is great against water Pokemon, like Vaporeon. Especially for training friendly gyms. If you train a low-level Parasect like that against a water Pokemon that's double the Parasect's CP, you get maxed prestige to level up the gym so you can put your Pokemon in there.

We watched Howl's Moving Castle for the first time this summer, so our Oddish was named Turniphead. Gloom is Potatohead. You have inspired Eggplanthead for when we finally get our Vileplume!

Ok, so that Raichu? Has the worst possible moveset and is <1000 CP too. But I love him forever and always.

I did a lucky egg and ran out of time before I evolved everything, so got lots of XP. But I'm still only halfway through lvl 22. I'm starting to understand the SO MUCH XP.

Overall did ok though out of my five eevolutions, I got three jolteons and two vaporeons. I don't yet have a fire mon with great moveset so I was hoping for a great flareon. Oh well. I got 6 pokedex additions and a great clefable. So all in all it was a good lucky egg session.

Also went to the zoo and it was amazing - a ton of pokestops and a bunch of ponytas. Plus, got my first seel! Fun fun.

I spent way too much time this morning powering up a gym to Level 8 so I could add one of my guys to it, thinking it had a good chance of staying there for a little while. Nope - I got kicked out before I could even collect my coins. Sigh.

Ok so nothing tooooo exciting today, but I did catch 2 pickachus, a seel, shellder, voltrobe, electrode, and a dratini- all new to me. I caught a boatload of Magikarps but not near enough to evolve. I saw a Wartortle but I didn't have enough great balls. I hatched two eggs but ones I already had. My lineup didn't change by I got some stardust so I'll be powering up some soon.

I evolved the Golem- there are so many geodudes around here I could probably get another. But all the ones you listed are SO abundant. It's funny how one person sees so much of something and another never does.

After the excitement of hatching the Porygon earlier today, my afternoon was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. DH stayed with the napping kids while I got time to myself to play. First I took down a gym, but the game froze at the end of the very last battle. I restarted, the gym was already sniped, and I got a red "ERROR" bar when I tried to battle it again. All that time wasted. I then walk over 4KM looking for the Jigglypuff on my sightings, the LAST ONE I needed to evolve a Wigglytuff. Didn't find it. Spent another 1 km looking for a Growlithe to power up my Arcanine, didn't find that either. My first 10k was an Electabuzz (already had one), and my lucky egg expired like 3 minutes before my 2nd 10k egg hatched. A Kabuto, which is new to me so that's nice. But WHERE'S MY snorlax or Lapras?!? Argh. By then DH was texting me to come home, so I didn't even get to camp at my favorite lure with a brownie and iced tea from the coffee shop. Extremely frustrating.

ETA: I also evolved a so-so Nidoking, a good Exeggcutor, and a mediocre Clefable. The Nidoking got my Pokedex to 100!

Congrats on the Raichu Poppy! Yeah, pikachu's evolution multiplier is pretty low, so the resulting Raichu isn't very strong. But I'm glad you love him!
