We are going for 3 nights the end of Sept. I am having a hard time deciding which days to do what and the crowd calendars make it seem like each day is bad for the parks I had in mind. We want to do HS, EP and MK. Mostly MK, but at least 1/2 day in the other 2.
Arrival day (we live 2 hours away so I assume we will arrive by 12pm). (night time MK halloween party which we are not going to) EP and HS are in the red on the calendars.
Monday: I have 8am res for BOG I'm thinking MK or EP?
Tuesday: Orginal day I wanted to do MK, have BOG for 8am, but it is a paid extra morning hours and I would prefer to go on the day when the park will be the least crowded.
I wouldn't let the paid morning hours stop you from going to MK if the crowds are otherwise projected to be lower. They only sell a couple hundred tickets to each of those events, and the impact on ride wait times is negligible.

Wed: whatever is left
What would you do on arrival day?
Arrival Day- Go to MK. You will have 6 hours of low crowds. With three FP plus you should get quite a few attractions done ( especially if you focus on one or two " areas" of the park like Liberty Square and Frontier Land or Tomorrow Land & parts of New Fantasy Land. At around 6:30 leave the park and get on a boat and go to a special dinner at one of the 7 Seas Lagoon/ Bay Lake resorts. Depending on the age/ preferences of your kids Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge, 1900 PF at Grand Floridian or Ohana at The Poly would all be fun. I refuse to recommend anyone ever set foot in Chef Mickey's but YMMV.
Monday. I don't do MK on a Monday. Bedlam. Really. I would do Epcot. I would FP FEA, and RD Test Track ( if your party is interested in that.) It looks like Soarin lines get lower after lunch now, so have lunch at Sunshine Seasons or Garden Grill ( OMG I love Garden Grill if you can get a reservation) Spend the evening exploring the WS with kidcot and Phineas and Ferb adventure.
Tuesday- Go back to MK. EMM are 250 people TOPS. DOES NOT affect wait times. Have BOG and try to get an early Mine Train Ride.
Weds- I would schedule another Epcot Day in case you missed something you really wanted to do.
