So, I've totally dropped the ball and lost track of time. I haven't done much research on fast passes and I was just reminded that I can make them tomorrow. Is there a good website that kind of spells out what I should do?
I have a 5 (boy), 3 (boy) and 1 (girl) year old traveling in September. I bought Park Hoppers and know what days we are going to what parks but I haven't actually planned the days yet. My boys are not that interested in character meet and greets, but do like most rides. My boys are on the smaller side too, so they might not be tall enough for all the rides. My husband will probably be taking them on most of the thrill rides, while I stay back with the baby. I'm pretty sure we will be doing 2 days at Magic Kingdom, 1 day HS (5 year old loves Star Wars), 1 day AK and 1 day Epcot. But, again, we have Park Hoppers.
Have you checked out the page on WDW where you can limit attractions by height and thrill level? This might be a good place to start and at least figure out what you want to do.
My boys were 1 when we went a couple years ago. We only did MK and HS but they did well on the Teacups, Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Under the Sea/Little Mermaid. I wish we had done the People Mover. I don't know why, but it didn't occur to me, and I think they would have enjoyed it.
I would definitely review the EasyWDW sheets for each park. He clearly describes FP priorities and I like his plans a lot.
One decision you'll have to make is whether to take DS1 on rides DS2 can't ride- 7DMT, Soarin, Splash, BTMRR (may be under refurbishment), Dinosaur (same), etc.
Thank you! I'll check out EasyWDW tonight, and hopefully, have a plan. I think we will let DS1 go on the rides that DS2 can't go on. DS1 is more into rides than DS2 at this point anyway.

MK Id do thunder mountain (if he's really 42"), mine train for both kids, I don't care for Peter Pan but if you want to go you'll want a FP. If you're doing 2 days, jungle cruise maybe? Sometimes it's an hour line. Otherwise I'd get the same ones. You don't usually need one for barnstormer.
HS-star tours, toy story, will he do ToT? I think it's 42"
AK - safari, water raft, dinosaur.
Epcot- Soarin or test track, Nemo? We usually never use our tier 2 passes. I like doing the classic characters here...
For rider swaps, you all go up to the ride entrance and you'll get a pass. Your DH will go w the boys then you can go with the boys. They'll get to go twice. It's a good deal.
Also be mindful of the maps. Don't book FP on opposite ends back to back. Have a walking plan in mind. Be mindful of your dining too.
