I'm really happy with the results except for Cyrus. I think him being in the top 4 is really pathetic. He is a great at what he does, but not even close to as talented as some who have gone.
Agreed! I was surprised they kept Whitney last week. She had been in the bottom a few times which should indicate people didn't like her. This season has seemd so short and disjointed. And now the finale is on a Tuesday?
I think I'm in the minority because I ADORE Cyrus. I want Eliana to take the whole thing because she's amazing, but I'm thrilled Cyrus is in the finale. I freaking love him and hope he does well after the show.
I think too many people get hung up on who the "best" dancer is...the point isn't to find the best dancer, it's to find Americas favorite dancer, and Cyrus is so damn likable. I think he brings something new, which is refreshing, and I like his spirit. No matter how difficult the show has been, he just keeps at it, and I respect it so much, I mean, he's has no training, and he still does quite well.
Funny how this is the first season where it isnt about the best dancer? It has been for all the other years. And now all of a sudden the theme has changed. A lot of great people have been let go because of technical problems. And his dances are always so much easier than others.
I agree he is entertaining, but this show is about dancing not just entertaining.

I think the winning title has always been "America's Favorite Dancer" but, yea, it's almost always been that favorite means best. I'll be mad if he wins. I know he's likeable, my husband loves him, but it irks me to end that he's still there. Plus, he most definitely is not doing quite well. You can tell his routines are simplified, he's always kind of hidden during the group routines, and has he even done ballroom yet? He's got heart and I respect him for giving it his all every week, but he should not still be there.
I'll add that I started this season thinking the Top 20 was really well-rounded with exceptional dancers, but now, with it wrapping up, I can't think of a single routine that blew me away. I'm kind of disappointed. I blame the Olympics, Mia Michaels tribute, new format, and all the double eliminations. Also, it annoys me that we have to wait til the end of each episode to find out who is in the bottom three. I'd rather they flash it on screen beforehand or something.
