What's going on with you this weekend?
For me, we're going over to a friend's house tonight to grill some food & hang out in his pool with some drinks. Tomorrow we're going to a bday party for 1 year old twins, at freaking 10 AM in the morning! It's for one of my best college friends, and I sent him a text when I got the invite that said something like, "You know you are old when your college BFF invites you to a weekend party that starts at 10 am instead of 10 pm!" I mean, it still seems really early for a party (even for babies), but he assured me there would be mimosas & bloody mary's, and more adults there than children, hahah.
No plans for Sunday other than normal chores, grocery trip, and such.
Tonight: I'm so embarrassed to even admit this...we're going to a Pokemon Go event that the city is putting on with a couple of friends. But, to make it a little more adult, we're meeting at the tap room first for dinner and beers, and then taking an Uber to the park. The park is also in another friend's neighborhood, so we may end up at her house afterwards for more beer.
Tomorrow: I may have to work, so if I do, that'll wipe out my morning and afternoon. If not, I think we're going to go hiking and then I may teach a yoga class in the afternoon. We have a birthday party to go to for one of M's coworkers, so we'll be there tomorrow night.
Sunday: Teaching yoga at the bar, then we'll either hang out there for a little bit, or I'll be back at work.
I really hope to find out whether or not I"m working pretty soon here.
I kinda started my weekend last night...my friend was guest chef-ing at a restaurant downtown and we ended up hanging out there consuming lots of wine until 1am. Oops.
I'm meeting G and my ILs for dinner tonight, then hanging out with our neighbors. I want to stay out as much as possible; the polyurethane fumes from our new floor give me a headache!
This weekend is Pride, so we'll check out the parade, some dance parties, my friend's after-party and maybe the festival on Sunday, depending on how tired/hungover we get.
I am so happy it's Friday. I was in a Project Management Bootcamp class all week and a vendor meeting this morning. I'm glad to be back home working in my little office.
No big plans this weekend except to keep working on our yard.
