I always had one in my room (starting in 5th or 6th grade) until I moved in with H. So it's been over 10 years since I've had one in the BR. I miss it sometimes.
ETA: We have a ridiculous number of TVs for 2 people, including an 80 inch monster I'm still getting used to. H mentioned when we first moved in he never wanted a TV in the bedroom, because he thinks it interferes with getting laid, I guess. LOL.
Yes. I think H would die without a TV in every freaking room. (I'm exaggerating.) Last night he was looking at a 90 inch tv that was 9,999.00. No FREAKING way.
We have one in our room. My vote would be to keep it out. Bedrooms are for private times not electronic interference times. (Though DH and watch regularly when we stagger upstairs but haven't finished watching the news or Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert News.)
My husband quoted some study that said people with TVs in the bedroom had less sex. I told him if he wanted me in the bedroom for sex, a TV was the best way to get me in there.
No. We used to in our first couple of apartments because that's where there was a place for a second TV, but we tended to stay up later watching crap, or one of us would be ready to sleep and the other would still be watching TV in bed. I really like not having one in the bedroom, we definitely sleep better.

yes. It helps me fall asleep. Dh is rarely there during the week so it's not really an issue. On the weekends he likes to turn it on first thing to see Sports Center.
Yep and this is also where DH plays his video games. Or we lay in bed and snuggle and watch Caillou (kids and I, not me and DH!)
I know a lot of people don't for one reason or another, but I love watching TV right before I go to bed, especially since every third night DH is working.
We do. We didn't always but I liked it at first because I could put on cartoons for DS in the morning while I showered and got ready.
Now I like it because there are shows I like to watch that he does not and I like to snuggle in bed and watch them on my own time. Oddly we don't actually watch the TV if we are in bed together though.

We do. We like to lay around and watch it together on the weekends. It's also nice because if we want to watch different things on TV, one of us just watches in there and the other watches in the living room.
No we don't, but I sometimes wish we did. There's nothing like laying in bed watching tv on a weekend morning.
But we have this attached "bonus" room off our master, and we have couches and a tv in there, so it seemed silly to have another tv right in the bedroom.
Yes, we do. We often lay in bed and watch Netflix or movies so one or both of us can fall asleep and not have to move off the couch. Or we watch tv in there when SS is here.
We do, but we only watch it if our parents are visiting and we are hiding in the bedroom.
The only time I regret not having a TV in our bedroom is when we have guests. We also don't have a TV in the guest bedroom! WTF, H. I think I need to rectify this on my own. The last time we had guests, I said to him, "They need something to do so they leave us alone!" LOL.
Yes but in our current apt and previous apt the only cable hook ups have been in the living room. We never bothered to get one put into the bedroom so the tv is only used sporadically to watch DVDs, usually when one of us is sick in bed.
I'm glad to see that so many others don't have tv's. Prior to living with SO I did have a tv in my bedroom that wasn't turned on for 2 years. We have 2 other tv's in the house, one in the LR and one in the FR in the basement, so I just don't see a need for it. Plus, my kids aren't allowed to have tv's and I prefer to live by example, or, that might just be another reason I'm giving SO
