Today is my normal day off, but I have a speaking engagement for work this afternoon at 3pm. I need to get moving to get a few things done; instead I've eaten too much and am slothing around the apartment.
A piece of art I ordered is supposed to come in today, eek! I can't wait! I've thought about this purchase for probably a year and found a really great discount last week, so I finally ordered it. I hope it looks the way I envisioned it would.
My friend and I listened to the Hamilton soundtrack last night. Her mind was blown in the best way because it's so damn awesome. She's already texted me about this morning, lol.
I feel you on thinking about art purchases forever. I have one in my dining room that I sat on for a year as well. I love it though. Wish I had it somewhere more visible to enjoy it more.
Another interview this morning. I think this is actually an interesting position which is making me more nervous than usual. Interviews usually wear me out, so other than some errands and more job searching I'm not sure what else I'll be doing today.
I am just so sad. H hasn't moved out yet and he is just going about life like it's no big deal. I just can't do that. Now he is sick and constantly talking to me about it and I don't know how I am suppose to act. He keeps telling me we are separating but told our kids we are divorcing. WTF
Work sucks. My boss had started to totally micro manage me. She has no idea what I do but wants to tell me how to do it.
I just want to cry today. I think the meds I am on are preventing me from crying. Usually, I would be a total mess at this point.
I just landed in Philly! It's sooooo muggy here! Took a red eye and trying to perk up now!
Oh, it's going to be GROSS all week. Enjoy, lol!
Do you have any plans to get out and see the city, try some of the amazing restaurants, all that jazz? Or are you strictly DNC-ing all week?
Hopefully, despite the worst weather we've had in ages, you'll be able to get out and experience the city. We get a lot of bad press, but man, this is my home and it's amazing.
My sister is in Germany on a school trip with her high school kids (she's a teacher). My other sister was stationed in Germany 10-13 yrs ago. I went to Germany in 2013 and 2014 on trips. It's so weird we visited all the same places but years apart. 3 out of 6 of my us have been to Dachau, Munich, and Heidelberg.
This Monday I have been blessed with a UTI and cramps, woohoo! Thankfully it's the slow season for my job so I coasted through work and have big plans to watch TV in my PJs all night.
