I'm a rut. Clearly thinking of buying stuff should not be how to fix this, but hey, go with what works. What have you gotten recently? What do you want next?
I picked up a Tom Ford blush finally (lovelust). Total disappointment. I mean, the texture was beautiful, but it just doesn't seem to apply well on me. And then it turns out Neiman Marcus doesn't take returns???
Next: Burberry Mulberry eyeshadow. At least Burberry doesn't disappointment me (*knock on wood*).
Is it bad that I'm a little glad that you didn't like the Tom Ford? Because if you would have loved it, I might have needed it too. Because the color looked great in the pan.
More burberry for me too. I'm working on an order now. Trying to decide on eyeshadow or waiting for the new sets to come out.
I think digital perms are really neat! you should get one. And take pictures while you're in the machine thing.
I just bought a new bag on birchbox CJ, so don't feel too bad. I haven't been thrilled with my birchbox lately. I like all the samples, but not enough to pickup the full size.
Another Burberry purchaser over here. I have Mulberry on the way, and I also picked up the Armani Eyes to Kill Intense shadow in Oxidized Silver (#27). I have a tube of KP Duty moisturizer in my Sephora cart, but want to wait to order until they get the new Illumasqua liquid liners in stock. I do not want to pay shipping, and there really isn't anything else I want or need from Sephora right now.
I will probably pick up the Urban Decay Ocho Loco set at some point this month or next. I just can't seem to say no to UD liner sets. Thank goodness none of the new palettes appeal to me!
All the Burberry love here is making me so happy ;D. Burberry is so worth it!
Evans - I'm annoyed I can't return/exchange the blush (It's not horrible, but for $54 I'd like to, well, like it more), but honestly releaved it wasn't love either. Keeping up with all things Burberry is expensive enough lol. And that's really hard, I'm excited about the sets, but really am obsessed with their individuals. But at this point you should probably wait to see how much is duped (where at this point I own like all but four of them, so I might as well keep going, right?).
Champ - Happy to take the blame . Which lipstick and blush? And I too sampled the detox and am thinking of getting it. How's the KS Serum?
CJ - which tea? I got the little baggu pink zipper bag with my points lol. I cancelled glossybox and honestly haven't regretted it, you?
Ms. Pond - Which bag? I got random stuff with my points too. I like the samples, and am happy with BB, but haven't needed much from them.
carrots - i have antigua and don't reach for it enough, really. It just doesn't seem to last on me (nothing is lasting on me lately though!)
nsl - again, I can't help it, the burberry love makes me happy. Do you have others? Those UD sets are always a good plan.

I finally caved and bought Pale Barley over the summer, loved it deleriously, and am now trying to decide which other shades I need. Anything in particular you'd recommend?
I did cancel glossybox. I almost rejoined when I saw they were doing a box with Refinery 29, but then I realized I don't miss it so why waste the money.
Birchbox is my only sub right now and I am fine with that.
Kusmi Teas are the ones I am loving right now though I often pick up Tea Forte while on there.

Pale barely is an amazing one! What's your coloring and what do you lean toward? (I really do own pretty much all but four....).
I will admit I reach for the "boring" ones the most, they are expensive, but great staples. Burberry Trench is a great all over (my lid but better), Almond in the crease (perfect light brown), and Taupe Brown or the new Dark Sable (you really don't need both, they are super close) in the v and as a liner.
More in the Pale Barely family is rosewood and midnight brown, fan favorites. Rosewood just doesn't quite work for me, but I like to use it to mix. Midnight brown is really pretty.
Pearl grey also is one of my very favorites. Greys don't usually work on me, but something about this is warm enough (while still being a cool grey) to be amazing. I love a smokey eye with it.
CJ - I think they had an Eli Faas item? That made me consider going back, but like you, I realized I didn't miss it. Even though I still have two birchboxes. I like getting 2x as more for same price - even though the samples are smaller.
Kore - I already told Kristy she's just going to have to tell me what palettes to start with. I'll need them all, but I need to start with like two lol. She's also calling me when the Burberry matte lipsticks come in.
kc - I want that bumble spray too! I heard good things about the alterna (sp?) and may try it (its $24), how much is the bumble again?

FWIW: I am pale, dark brown hair, hazel eyes.
I have Chestnut and Gold Trench. What should I get? I love Almond and the Midnight Brown.

I think Midnight Brown and/or Pale barely would be great. Chestnut is a darker almond, so I don't know if both are really "necessary." Dark Sable if you're looking for a liner (or deeper V color).
Haven't decided on the blush yet, but lipsticks I'm considering are Sepia and Rosewood (I think that's the one you and Evans both have?)
I have Rosewood, as does Kore, I think Evans as Union Jack? Rosewood is pretty, and just seems to work on all people. I'm ordering Sepia next week though.

My coloring is very similar to yours, only with blue eyes. I also lean towards neutrals most days, though I do like a pop of color now and then. These recommendations are fantastic--any others you think are must-haves?

Honestly, must haves, I don't think so. Khaki is nice (crease, V or liner), lavender blue (which doesn't look blue, but the lavender is, its weird) works as a really nice lightener (like I mix it with other shadows and it just brightens in a particular way), and pearl white (pretty highlighter despite scary white). But I wouldn't say any are must haves.
I would recommend *against* porcelain. It's not bad, but its not worth it. Okay, maybe then its a little bad...

Rosewood is so cool. It's a color I never in a million years would've picked, but it's so flattering. I also loovvvee the lip mist in Blueberry.

please let us kmow how you like! (and if it's from Nordstrom remember you can return). I adore pearl grey.

Haven't decided on the blush yet, but lipsticks I'm considering are Sepia and Rosewood (I think that's the one you and Evans both have?)
KS serum is very lightweight and not sticky, so I like that. Not sure if it's as potent as the Skinceuticals Phloretin serum I was using, though. I'm mostly glad that it's not breaking me out.
I have Primrose, Union Red, and Rosewood. Rosewood is great. I get a lot of compliments on it. I think it is pretty universally flattering. And if you order it and hate it, I'll buy the full size from you. (Really. I only have the mini of it).
Eeee! How would you describe it? It's hard to tell from online pics. It looks peachy to me, which is what I'm looking for. I have a lot of pinks and am looking for something else.
It's sort of a peachy/coral color. It layers well so you can go for darker look easy.
I can swatch it for you when I get home, if you want.
Blossom is really pretty, and if you're looking for a peach I'd recommend. I agree its peach/coral, it does have some pink I'll admit. But it can also go bright, which is nice. It's my summer blush generally (okay, one of lol).
