ok... so we're going at the end of August, and just decided to do a date night at the Yachtsman steak house at the YC :-) we have one DS, who is 5.5-- we're staying at the Poly, so we were thinking of putting him in the kid's club there. BUT i know theres also a kid's club at the BC resort, which would be closer to where we're eating if they need us... BUT the one at the Poly would be closer to our room when he's tired after we get him LOL what do you think? anybody done both and is one really better than the other? (He liked the kids club on our DCL cruise in January, if that makes a difference LOL )
They were priced differently last time we went. Poly was priced for an evening and Sandcastle was by the hour. We've used Sandcastle twice and it's great.

Sandcastle Club at BC and Lilo's Playhouse at the Poly are both a flat fee of $55. We are using Sandcastle Club in Nov- drop off time starts at 4:30p and pick up by 12am. We are using BC because we want to go to HS and ride TOT and RnR without the kiddos (they're too young to go on) then head over to Epcot to walk around the WS.
For me it would depend on what other plans I had beside the meal- are you planning to do a park as well? which one?
My kids really loved the Dolphin's kids' club when we had dinner at the Yachtsman last February, and I loved that we could easily watch the Hollywood Studios fireworks show from the bridge while we were walking back to the hotel at the end of the evening. I'm not sure that you can still do that with the new Star Wars show, but it was a nice perk for us.
Thanks guys! just signed him up for the one at Poly... and booked dinner at the yachtsman :-) figure it'll be good to be close to the room when we pick him up all tired :-) we just plan to eat at yachtsman, and then maybe hit up jellyrolls on the boardwalk, or just walk around there... my cousin works for disney- so we might see if she wants to meet up with us for a drink or something while we're not distracted by DS :-) I'm a SAHM and we don't have ANY family around to watch him at home--- so i'm REALLY looking forward to a fun night out at Disney!! LOL

Yay for a fun night out. They just opened Abracadabar on the Boardwalk. The pictures make it look fun. That could be an option for an after dinner drink before heading back to Poly.
