Learned that my only pair of black pants (Express Editor) are boot cut, so I tried for a more streamlined look up top, which is why I tucked my top in. I typically would have gone untucked. Also, I went with pointy shoes, rather than roundy flats which I would have done typically. Suggestions for improvement?
I will say I feel like these pants make me look a little heavy. I'm 5'2 and 115, and feel like I look 125 here.

I agree about more slimming pants, but love the top! I'd also do a statement necklace with it or a floral/fun scarf to add some color.
Thanks! I almost wore the white necklace I wore yesterday (pandce.proboards.com/thread/544184/day-cute-mind-meh-reality) but I thought it was too busy? So I tried to fake my own layered necklace and of course my 3 year old said, "mama, why are you wearing two necklaces?" Sigh. I'll try this same shirt again this weekend with skinny jeans and a different necklace.

I'm totally on board with layering necklaces! I would have selected a chunkier or brighter one--perhaps orange, turquoise, red--I think white would look good too!
Thanks for sharing the top! I'm 7.5 months pregnant with twins right now, so I'm living vicariously through everyone who isn't in maternity dresses every day!
