I ordered these last night (Nine West Prisilla pumps) because they were similar to some shoes I saw on the outfitposts.com blog I've been reading. BUT! They're returnable! So if you think they're going to be a bad match for me, feel free to speak up. I've never had shoes like these before; I've only ever had regular plain pumps.
That sucks about the problem you mentioned about Target flats! I was going to suggest those for ease of putting on. I seem to not reach for the lace ups I have cuz I can't be bothered to spend time wrapping those laces.. LOL! Zipbacks are quick to put on and take off IMO.
I picked up two pairs of flats from J crew yesterday during the extra 50% off sale.
These are both so pretty. What will you wear the one on the left with? And random Q: Does "d'orsay" refer to how the side of the flat is cut-out/cut-away? I'm seeing that word a lot as I've been shoe shopping lately.
ohgillian , metallics are considered neutral so I'd wear them pretty much with every thing. For outfit posts with the item I want to wear, I usually just look on pinterest or sometimes go to the actual product website for inspiration. You can see put together outfits under "looks we love". You may not find the inspiration once the item is on sale because only outfits featuring new items will be shown.
Yes, D'orsay style is usually two piece heels or flats but not always two separate pieces. Sometimes it's cutaway only on one side too.

All super helpful. Thanks. This post reminds me of how shocked I was when this board told me that leopard print flats were basically neutrals that I could wear with a lot of stuff. SHOCKED, I tell you. Now, I wear them all the time, lol. I actually just replaced mine with an identical pair when pair 1 wore out.
ohgillian , LOL! I remember when I didn't use see leopard as neutral (I think about 4 yrs ago).. and posting how leopard didn't go with this outfit at all.
I'm still not a huge fan of this particular outfit but I wear leopard with a lot of outfits that I used to think "doesn't go together". I've always been a fan leopard print so the new thought process makes it lot easier to just throw it on!
bethaboo where is the swing dress from? I love it. And I totally need more swing dresses in my life. Ha.
It's from Gap. This is my first swing dress and I think I'm in love.
I had this in my basket, how is the fabric? I have a couple from Old Navy that got really pilled, not a huge deal since they were $8 but the Gap one is more $$. But I love the cut so I am willing to spend the money, plus I have some rewards.

It's a little thin; not in a see-through way but in a shows undergarment line way. I wear a long tank from H&M underneath. I have only washed it once and it held up well.
