I have an Ulta rewards question. If I make Platinum in September, then am I only platinum through December? Or do I stay platinum for a full year (so until September 2017)? I've never been platinum before, but I'm only $75 away now!

You would be platinum through December 2017.

I had tried a Buxom eye shadow a couple of weeks ago to see if I had a reaction and I didn't, YAY. I think I'm going to go ahead and make my own palette. There's a deal right now at ulta.

What did you get?

Nothing is really jumping out at me.  Is there anything I should get, LOL.

I like the powders, which I'm guessing are like a highlighter which I don't really need. I haven't tried the pressed pigments yet, I do kind of like the greenish one.

Oops forgot to insert the pic. Honestly I picked these as much for the names as the shades haha. I'm not quite sure what the face powder will be good for but I'm guessing I can use it as a blush or highlight. There's a gloss or 2 I might still grab and I like another lipstick and face powder but I'm not sure I want to spend that much. I'll see how fast these sell out.

I got all excited that I got a 20% everything Ulta coupon and I was all set to use my rewards and get the anastasia modern Renaissance palette... And then I read fine print, this one excludes prestige. Boo.

Oh I know what you mean. I'm never back to Macing these lol. I figure I can reuse the eyeshadow and face powder compacts too. I still want all the glosses because of the names.

I swear, I buy literally nothing but NYX. I bought 5 eyeshadows during the points promo and just picked them up yesterday, and I loooooove them. Super smooth, good color payoff, and seem to have decent staying power so far. I picked up an HD blush too and I'm digging it. God I love this brand. I'm going to use my 20% off and 5x anniversary points to get more, lol.

Stupid Nordstrom Rack suckered me into buying two UD revolution lipsticks (F bomb and Catfight) and a Stila lip vinyl. I seriously do not need any lip colors.

I don't have a single Nyx item! I'll have to check it out more

I primarily buy a lot of their matte lip creams and butter glosses. Their face and eye stuff was on promo so I decided to branch out since I'd heard good things. I have a gel eyeliner pot I use daily from them and it has some pretty good staying power.

I ordered two NYC HD blushes during the points promo in deep plum and rose gold. They just arrived and I swatched them.  The colors are gorgeous and they swatched really nicely.

 The rose gold could probably double as a highlighter.
