appointments before the park opens

We have a baby's first haircut appointment at 9am in Magic Kingdom. Are we only allowed in 15 minutes prior to the appointment or will they let us in whenever we show up (within reason)? For example, if we get to the gate at 8:15 will they let us in or make us wait for 8:45?

I've had it both ways. The issue is the barbershop is so close to the entrance you could make it if they let you in at 8:59.

You'll be in before 9 just going with the opening of the park. Usually it's a few minutes before 9 that the welcome show ends.

I've only done this once, so my experience is rather limited. We had an 8:45 BBB appointment and they let us in at 7:45. Luckily BBB took us at 8:20 b/c that was a lot of time to kill.

I have heard that recently they are letting anyone with a pre park opening appointment/ ADR in at 7:45am. I would plan on being there around 8:15.
