Which would you choose? (Resorts)

I was *this* close to booking a standard room at Wilderness Lodge, but now I'm considering renting DVC points.

So which would you choose?

Facts: Travel is for end of April 2017. Family of 4, girls will be 5 and 2 1/2 at time of travel.

Option 1: WL standard room for $2560
Keeping in mind the resort is undergoing refurbishments, which from most reports, does not impact stay much. But it is a consideration.
I would use a travel agent to do all the FP/dining bookings for me. 

Option 2: Deluxe studio villa at Poly for $2528
This would be through DVC rental store.
I would do all bookings by myself.

We want to do 5 days at the parks, keeping a day or 2 just to hang back at the resort. We have never been to either resort. In fact, I don't think I've ever stayed on Disney property.

I'm going to be the weirdo and choose WL. Mostly for the fact that you can get a room with 2 beds or a room with 1 bed and bunk beds for the kids. You dont have to mess with a pull out couch and the murphy bed and you get daily housekeeping.

I was at the Poly in December and it was fantastic.  They were undergoing refurbishments as well during that time and it wasn't an issue at all.  I wouldn't let that sway your decision either way.

Poly. I actually prefer the pull out with kids because you have more floor space.

Deluxe studio at poly, we're booked there at Thanksgiving and I'm so excited! Plus they have two bathrooms which I think is cool.
