Just wanted to update... Looks like it was another fireman and not directly related to the racist letter. Apparently he lives across the street from Ken (I used to live directly across the street as well).

ETA: they have a suspect in custody but the guy confessed to setting the fire.

So the guy confesses to police but pleads not guilty at court??? I don't understand. Is this a ploy his attorney told him to do? To get a plea deal for the name of who wrote the letter (which I believe is all him)?

It's too much of a coincidence that there was a threatening letter, and then this guy just decided to pick this guy's house as the one to burn down. I think he's denying the letter right now because it'll escalate this from "plain old asshole arsonist" to "hate crime" status.
