Anyone rented a crib?

DS will be 21 months when we go and he is a big fan of his crib and sleeps like a champ (12-14 hours straight a night).

We're staYing in a deluxe studio at the Poly in November and I'm nervous about him in a pack and play, I think he won't have enough room and won't sleep well. My plan was to use the second bathroom in the studio as his 'room'

I'm seriously thinking about renting a crib so it won't mess with his routine.

Has anone done this? I'm told wdw only has pnp, no cribs. Any suggestions?

We are doing exactly what you are doing in January. Dd2 will be 2y4m. She will be sleeping in the pnp. I was a bit worried bit we went to beach last week and she did great at 21m in it. She is a good sleeper though. If she were a bad one like dd1 I may consider it

I'd probably just use the pack n play. Honestly, I don't cater to ever little thing and when traveling they've learned to deal. And in 3 months he might not be sleeping 12 hours a night in his crib anyway. I don't expect perfect sleeping when traveling, so I try not to get stressed out by it.

Can you request a crib if staying on the DVC side? I've only ever stayed in Deluxe standard hotel rooms, but we've requested a crib each time and it worked out great.

We did. I was not sure it was necessary but my parents got one anyway. We used A baby's best friend.

Are you flying or driving? My in-laws have a kids air mattress that has sides to it that they use on vacations, at their house, etc. Both my kids have slept in it when they outgrew the pnp (starting around 18-20 months - the kids are tall).

flying, so I'm trying to bring as little as possible.

He naps in a pnp here at home but it has a regular mattress in it.  I'm sure he'll be exhausted, but he's tall too, so thats what made me wonder

I am a freak. But I actually BOUGHT a PnP mattress cheap on Amazon and had it shipped to the resort. Then I left it at Bell Services for someone I met on the dis checking in that day.

Maybe we should start a swap train on here?

Oh, interesting! I was worried it will be uncomfortable. My DS will be just over two when we go. Was it a standard size pnp? I'm also worried it will be a smaller pnp and he'll be too big.

Yes. It's a regular PnP. The mattress should fit
