...and if so, what is it? How would you describe it? How did "end up" with it?
I've been wearing the same perfume for about 3 years. DH picked it out and gave it to me as a gift. I like it a lot, but now that it's running low I'm debating whether I should try something new or stick with it. It seems like such a big commitment, lol!

Not really, no. I collect indie and niche perfumes, and have had several bespokes made. I have many favorites that are mood and season dependent. Sometimes I like gourmand, especially for fall and winter, and other times avant garde and animalic. A couple years ago I was really into avant garde and aquatic fragrances, and here recently I'm loving a variety of styles from realistic, deep vanilla, to green/chypre.
I recently purchased a few different fragrances. I should be receiving one today that I've been eyeing for a little while. I received several samples of new niche releases. I am absolutely loving Ex Nihilo's Amber Sky. It's a light amber scent that feels so warm and soft. Like a cozy blanket. It's on my birthday list. It will be a fantastic fall scent. And Indult's Tihota is my absolute favorite vanilla scent, also on my birthday list.

You seem extremely knowledgeable about this topic! Any recommendations for me given the scent I am currently using?

gennyu - Like a fresh floral with fruity notes? I've tried all of these and have a few small decants. I enjoy fresh floral/fruity during the spring and summer.
Morning Muscs by Alexandre. J
One Night In Rio, Mon Musc A Moi and Made In Heaven by A Lab on Fire
Magnolia Romana and Au Lac by Eau d'Italie
Good Girl Gone Bad by Kilian
Niche tend to be more pricey, and a good way to try them out is to order samples or decants if you don't want to purchase a full bottle.
For the last year I have been wearing Vera Wang Hippie Princess pretty much daily. I just went to Ulta last summer and smelled a bunch until I found this one lol.
Unfortunately once I get through my current bottle I don't have anymore and each year it sounds like she has a new scent and the old ones are no longer sold
I used to wear Michael Kors because I love the scent of gardenias but don't want to smell only like gardenias. Then Sephora stopped carrying it and I only like to shop online at a handful of places.
So I went on a quest. I was hoping for something rose based, but most turn acrid on my skin. Then I found Chloe, and it's perfect. I wear it most days. When I want to switch it up, I wear Tocca Florence which is a rich white floral, but it's too heavy for every day.
Not really, I have a lot of different perfumes. My favorite smell ever is my Lemongrass bath bombs and I've been looking forever for a perfume that smells like it. Finally found one, Philosophy Warm Citrus.
I love cycling through different scents, so no signature for me. I did wear Britney Spears's Fantasy for ages and received lots of compliments on it, lol. I've since branched out in my perfumes. I'd say I lean toward sweet scents, so sweet scents might be a form of signature, if you will.
I used cycle through balenciaga's florabotanica, tory burch, daisy by marc jacobs and burberry body. Now I use a perfume from Lush that's jasmine scented which is one of favorites. It was a gift from H. It's pretty strong, so I use it rarely and sparingly.
