We're heading to Ft Bragg next year and would like to have a house ready for us when we get there. We're eligible for a 4BR in Nijmegan, Bataan, Linden Oakes, or Hammond Hills. (Pope too, but....no.) Pros/Cons of each?
We were there but lived off base so I can't help you there! Sorry. I was only there for ten months but can try to help with questions if you have them in general.

panicked, We lived at Bragg for 3 years, just left last year. Of those selections, I would rule out Bataan. It's kind of far from other things on base and the housing looks crappy. Linden Oaks is not actually on Bragg and it can be a long drive with traffic. It's also pretty far from Fayetteville and just has some stores in a strip mall and fast food places. But, the housing is nice and new, the community center is really nice, and I've heard good things about the school. Since it's off base, it can be inconvenient at times. But they offer certain kids' sports and other activities there, so not too bad. Nijmegan is pretty nice, it has a mix of older and newer housing. Not sure what the 4 bedrooms would be. It's right across from the commissary and close to a couple CDCs. Also, there is a pool in the neighborhood. DS1 went pre-k and k at Bowley, which is where Nijmegen residents would go. It's a nice school, but I know they changed principals and some faculty, so I can't say how it is now. Hammond Hills is a little older, but great location. Walking distance to Hampton Primary (pre-k-2nd) and the elementary for 3rd-5th grade (can't remember the name.) Hampton is a brand-new school. It's something called a "21st century school" and was the 1st one in the dods system. DS1 went to 1st grade there, and I can't recommend it enough. I was so sad to leave it! Wonderful faculty, awesome resources, just great all around. Also, Hammond Hills is close to the middle school, hospital, CDCs, and several pools. Finally, Pope is nice, but it doesn't have much besides housing and playgrounds. The school closed and I think the students were moved to Bowley. I hope this helps! I'm pretty biased because of the wonderful experience my son had at Hampton, lol!

Thanks for the input! We are leaning heavily toward Nijmegan, but we'll check out Hammond Hills too!
panicked We've been here since DH left AIT, about 9 years. We're leaving soon, by the end of this school year.
We've always lived off base though. If you have questions about Fayetteville in general, I can try to help. I have a 7yo DD so I can definitely share any tips for kid friendly things around town, including her awesome school where she's learning Chinese.
