So today is the first time I'm wearing a tampon since Q was born. Um, I don't really know how to say this but things are different down there. The tampon doesn't fit right and when I try to make it fit I notice that I seem to be shaped different. WTF. Did this happen to anyone else?

I dont wear tampons, but I noticed that for a while ( like a year) that everything was totally shaped differently...it wasn't a loose/tight issue but genuinely shaped different. I suppose it still had to do with muscles as it seems to be much less noticeable now, but here I go about to screw it all up again lol
It's just not right...I only had one pp period between DS and DD, but I don't remember any weirdness with fit, but, yeah. I've got a problem.
That said, I was never able to make the DivaCup work for me before...so maybe there's hope that things are different enough that it will magically fit better now, lol?
I haven't noticed any difference, but then I had a c-section, so I'd be a little worried if I did.
But my BFF had her baby vaginally and tore pretty badly. She just told me the other day that she can't even wear a tampon anymore because of the way they stitched her up.
I have to share this here because I haven't told many people IRL: When my midwife was stitching me up after DS was born, she quietly called the nurse over to consult on what to do with an extra flap of skin.
It ended up just being some swelling and I healed up just fine but that was pretty horrific. DH thought it was hilarious.

We discussed the tampon issue on my bMB. More than one of us were uncomfortable with the first insertions. I had a csection and only dilated to 2 cm, so I dont know why my vagina was all stretched, but I felt like the tampon was falling out. 6 periods later...all is normal
Things felt odd after DS1. Tampon insertion was uncomfortable, and sex was painful for months and months (I had a third degree tear). But after re-tearing (though much less severely) and getting stitched again with DS2, everything went back to normal. No pain or discomfort and SH swears it feels just like it always did.
