Wednesday Randoms

I actually slept last night and woke up not feeling exhausted! Today I'm working for a bit and then taking the rest of the day off to take my niece (technically 2nd cousin) back to school shopping! She has never been shopping before and is super excited!

I'm sure I'll be totally exhausted by the time today is over. In other news I'm out of tea this morning. Of all mornings this is when I really needed the caffeine boost! Must run to store haha.

I wore a dress today that buttons all the way up. I did not wear a slip (I do not even own a slip) underneath and I noticed that when I sit a certain way it puckers and you can see my stomach. Oops. Guess I'll at least be putting a camisole on when I go home at lunch.

I tried taking DD on a clothing shopping spree yesterday. She was largely uninterested, and then when she finally found something she wanted, there was a major tech/com issue and no stores could take anything plastic. We'll try again another day.

Just found out how some not great rumors about me and BF got started at work -STBXH. I had a suspicion but it was confirmed.

This is my first full day back from vacation and I've been super productive, which is good. I have to volunteer this afternoon and then I'm looking forward to just crashing on my couch.

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, ugh. I don't even know if I want to laugh, cry, or rage. Probably all three.

Yesterday when I got in my car I noted that the small crack in my windshield had gotten bigger. Insurance is replacing it tomorrow. Yay!! They didn't even ask how I got the crack; when I told the claims rep that it was about 30 inches long he just wanted to know when they could send out the mobile glass guy.

I woke up with my back all screwy but I am thoroughly enjoying the ice pack since it is about 80F in the house; my back feels better and it is keeping me cool.

I got an email last night from the deputy campaign manager for a local candidate running for congress. They need volunteers for a ton of stuff so hopefully I will hear back by the end of the week. I told them I could work 30-40 hrs per week and that there were 10 different things I was interested in. I want this guy to win even if he isn't my rep!

When XH and I split up, he told anyone who would listen that I left him for someone I had met on deployment. Most people didn't believe him, and those that might have believed him didn't care (FTR, it wasn't true).
Don't even worry about what's been said about you guys. The ones who matter to you know what's true.
