A recognizes him and every time she sees him on TV or pictures "MOM is that DONALD TRUMP?!" I'm terrified someone is going to think we like him. I tell her yes but he's not a nice man, so hopefully she doesn't say she likes him ever lol
this is why I had to ban his name in my household. There's something about it that children want to repeat (perhaps this explains his success?). We refer to him as He Who Shall Not Be Named.
The other day I had NPR on in the car and they were advertising a program about Trump's wall, with people chanting, "BUILD THE WALL" in the background, so of course DS started chanting the same thing over and over again. NOOOO.
When I was little I was obsessed by Madame Nu. She was a snappy dresser.
DS got really into George W. Bush I think when he was running for his second term. It was his Micheal P. Keaton phase. DH and I were appalled.
I did wait in line for over 2 hours among horrible right-wingers to procure tickets to a speech he gave the week before the election (I'm very WASPy looking, so I was able to go undercover) and my DH took him out of school early and hiked almost 2 miles with serious cardiac issues so DS could see his hero. It was a cluster- the republicans were rude to DS (because not old enough to vote) and Rick Santorum opened with hateful remarks and DS got over it real fast. He's with HRC now after his heart was broken by Bernie's loss. There's hope for your little J.
