Omg! This is crazy ass shit!! So disturbing. I was back at work today after being off for the past week so didn't have time to be on here. Damn, I chose the wrong day to not be gcbn-ing. I have been reading this thread for the last hour trying to catch up, I'm in total disbelief.

I have finally read through everything and I'm stunned. I don't post as much as I use too, but I'm shocked. There is a special place in hell for people who make up stories about decreased children.
Oh man, not to pile on but I had a LLR pop up a few weeks ago and I know she had some shipping issues and my friend reached out to me to apologize...which I thought was odd but I didn't think much about it. But I just messaged her and she sent me the screenshots. She was....not an easy customer to deal with. Was offered a free pair of leggings when my friend sent all of her order to her home instead of splitting it up. Declined. Claimed it was the "worst LLR experience" she ever had. :^) My poor friend was really upset.
@notquiteblushing I think that is very par for the course with her business dealings with other LLR sellers and businesses on MMM she's worked with. But it's hard to go public with that info here when she has your personal information and it's your business.

I'm confused. LLR consultant shipped the order and Lindsey was mad that it was in one box and not split into multiple shipments? Because of that Lindsey declined that package??

L shopped my online party. Bought some stuff for herself and one pair of leggings for her mother. I guess she specified that the shipping for her mother's leggings was not her address but my friend didn't see that and sent all of the stuff to her. When she figured out what happened L complained. My friend offered her money to pay for reshipping the leggings to her mom and L still complained. Friend offered to express mail a free pair of leggings to L's mom and she declined. She also complained that the tracking was not updated by the post office and that one of her shirts was sized differently than shirts she had previously ordered from LLR.
She also said such gems as "I'm a business owner and I ship things all the time" and "I spent a lot of money at your stocking." For weeks my friend thought I was mad at her because of this nonsense and was too afraid to tell me.
When people say, "there are red flags everywhere," after all the shit goes down, I'm all like whut? I guess hindsight is 20/20.
It was the extreme, public APing followed by the I made a bajillion dollars in my kitchen that pinged my radar. Actually I'll be honest, it was the extreme APing. After that I just kind of side eyed everything else.
ETA: I had no idea about the nest/bump stuff since I wasn't there when that all went down.

I thought her mother had passed away? On her FB she was always referencing it...

After her complaints, the Usborne consultant offered her a 25% discount on anything additional she wanted - basically the consultant's commission. Celiac's response was that she "doesn't need handouts."

As a fellow business owner, who ships things all the time, you think she would be more understanding and sympathetic. Also, as someone who allegedly has several hundred packages leaving her house on any given day, you would think she could send a package to her mother and say "hey this cost me $x.xx" and your friend could reimburse properly.
Your poor friend. And so many other people.
I feel so disgusted by her making up a child with an illness, then death of said child, and then trolling *multiple* grief boards, blogs, etc. I know we are all focusing on her business, her conduct as a business owner and customer, etc but I think it is because that is how so many of us "know" her. I don't think it's because any of us think her original shitty behavior comes second to anything else.

What did she expect? All solutions offered didn't add expense on her end. It's not like the LLR salesperson could go back in time and correct the error. Wtf. Whatabitch.
She once complained to me because she was tracking her leggings and they had sat at her local post office for one day. She was very confrontational, like "WHAT WILL YOU DO IF THEY DON'T GET HERE?" which I thought was pretty rich considering her bars took a month to arrive.

And I'm 99% certain that's why she chose to ship exclusively with UPS with her business; because she *knew* the USPS could drop the ball 1, on tracking, and 2, on deliveries.
Again, you'd think as a business owner herself who ships all the time, she would be more considerate and understanding. Lol at "what will you do?" um, they were shipped on time, with tracking. Once they leave your hands, it's kind of outside of your control!

Why wouldn't she call the post office and bitch to them? How are you supposed to control that?
If I'm being honest I am feeling some kind of way about all these people now coming out with shady business details. This was an Internet stranger and a business deal, not a family member you have to be worried about seeing at a family function. One person speaking up could have saved many people heartache or at least shitty business.
I don't understand not speaking up out of kindness especially when money was involved.
Now that I read those old quotes about how she treated her wedding vendors, it sounds like she just wants free stuff. She blows up small infractions until she gets something in return. And even then it seems like that's not enough. Presumably b/c she's unhappy unless she gets to keep the items for free instead of just a discount or some other reasonable solution. Coming from a small business owner that behavior is... rich.

Yep. This is a common con and it works best with small businesses because the owners are willing to bend over backwards to keep customers.

I've finally read everything and I don't even know what to say. Well, I do. I've been on this site for years, and the one before this. I've "known" many of you for a long, long time, and I've always felt like a bit of an outsider because there's a big portion of my life I've never really shared here. I don't go to GTGs, I keep a lot of things private. Just when I feel like it's time to let my guard down, something like this happens and I'm reminded that it's never as simple as it seems.
