One of my kids was born on April 3rd. I am forever writing 3-4. Everytime I write her birthday down I literally have to count the months out in my head to make sure I get it right.
In my defense I have a crap load of kids. That's too many numbers.
That said, I love the tattoo!
My son's bday is 8/15/14 but I always say 8/14/15! I am usually so good with numbers/dates so this is huge for my. But I guess my brain can't get past the fact that 14 comes before 15.. Sounds like your 4/3 situation
My mom celebrated my youngest brother's birthday a day late for 15 years, until he wanted to get his passport and needed his birth certificate. It happens, lol.
Glad you can get it fixed easily!
This is hysterical!
What was the scene when he found out his birth date?Â
And my son just turned 1 July 24th. I told someone this weekend his birthday was July 25th. Definitely happens!
My mom was just like "Oh. I guess your birthday is the 17th not the 18th. My bad!" My brother was like "MOM WHAT THE HELL" lol.

I keep laughing about this.
We had to change my brother's birthday by almost a week when he was little (he was adopted and some new paperwork surfaced). Every year I forget which date is the right one - the original date is ingrained in my head. I feel like an ass asking my mom so I just go to Facebook and it tells me.
We wrote the wrong birth date on DD's photo birth certificate from the hospital (not the official). It's a funny story. It happens. Pretty tattoo, glad it can be fixed. And I am dying over this.
my dad spelled my sister's name wrong on her hospital birth certificate AND her baptismal certificate. lol.
My dad did this also! My mom filled out the SS paperwork and my dad did the birth certificate. We didn't realize they were different until I was trying to get my drivers license, and I had to get one legally changed so they would match.

I'm glad my kids were both born on the 30th of the their months...now I only have to remember the months. Right after Robbie was born I was sitting at Kaiser and they were calling him "Robert (lastname), Robert (lastname)." I just sat there like a dolt because 1. I forgot his name isn't actually his nn and 2. I wasn't used to having him yet and was expecting them to be calling my daughter.

This same thing happened with my mom's younger sister. She celebrates both birthdays all these years later. The actual birthday and the one her family celebrated every year until she was in her teens. Lol
My ex-BIL was supposed to have the same name as his father. His Mom put an extra i in the middle of his name. It's still pronounced the same but just looks odd.
DD is the 16th and DS is the 18th, and DH neeeevvvveeerrrrr remembers which is which. And he thinks DD's is the 17th half the time. Our garage door code is a combo of the dates, and I always giggle when it takes him at least two tries to open it.

That's an easy one to make a memory hook. DD is the 16th because she was born first. And it's the 16th not the 17th because the 16th comes first. Bam. Done.

You'd think, but he still has yet to fill out a form correctly! It's just some weird mental block for him at this point.
If it helps, my grandpa got two of his kid birth dates wrong when he registered their birth. He put in my uncle as 1953 but my uncle was born in 1952. And he put my mom's birthday as february 15 but she was born on february 2nd. So they both have the wrong birth dates on all their paper work for their entire life.

I'm so glad they're going to be able to fix it!
My birthday is in September and in 1st grade I moved to a new school in November. My teacher asked my birthday and heard December instead of September. When I realized this and saw my not-real birthday listed on the December birthday calendar I panicked and begged my mom to make cupcakes for me to bring. I didn't want to tell the teacher she just misunderstood me and celebrating birthdays was a big thing so I didn't want kids to wonder why I skipped it. My birthday went back to September in 2nd grade. :-)

lol. This happened to my cousin when she went to get her DL. She got there and was told to come back the next day! We were all at my aunt's house when she stormed in to let her mom know.
I'm so glad they can fix it for you! The design is gorgeous and I'm a huge Coheed fan so I love that your kid is Cambria.
My sister and I were born on 5/7/85. My mom had a scheduled c-section and really wanted it to be 5/8/85 but her doctor was on vacation on the 8th. She's never gotten over it and has messed the date up on multiple forms. She's still doing it 31 years later.
Yeah, I have a friend who is one of ten kids. The hospital sent her two birth certificates as a baby, one said she was born on the first, the other the tenth. She has no clue which is correct.
