More Than You Know by Penny Vincenzi. It's fluffy but fun -- 1960s London, lots of classist and sexist attitudes, which is interesting. The main character is such a doormat at this point, but I'm expecting her to grow a backbone soon.

I'm 40 pages from finishing The Alchemist's Daughter. I am enjoying it very much, but I hope it ends the way I want it to.
After that I can't decide if I want to read Grand Days by acclaimed Australian author Frank Moorhouse or dive into a stack of fluff books I have waiting.
Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light. It's a fascinating study of Mother Teresa's spiritual life and development as seen through her correspondence with her spiritual mentors.
I'm listening to Atlas Shrugged on audio, and it's fantastic. It's good that I'm liking it, because I'm going to be at this one for a while.
I'm also picking away at a Nook freebie, Jenna's Cowboy. It's cute.
I finished Death in the City of Light: The Serial Killer of Nazi-occupied Paris, which was a great combination of mystery, true crime, and history. I'm now reading Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I don't normally read fiction, but my husband read it after we saw the movie and insisted I need to read it. The writing is fantastic.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain

The Last Gasp: The Rise and Fall of the American Gas Chamber by Scott Christianson. It is interesting, but I think the author lets his emotions and opinion on the death penalty interfere with some of the research. I'd still recommend it.

I'm about halfway through The Women and ready to give up. The narrative style is really annoying me for some reason, and the characters just aren't all that compelling. It and Before I Go To Sleep are both library books on my Kindle and both due next week, so I may just bail and switch to BIGTS.
The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkein. I've been really stressed lately and need an escape to some old friends.
({) (}) I know how that is! I went through a really horrible thing a few years ago and all I could bring myself to do was crawl into a bubble bath and read my battered old copy of Rilla of Ingleside.
I just started listening to A Storm of Swords and so far so good. I'm glad to be getting back into the series. I've got A Feast for Crows downloaded as well, so I should be able to keep going from one to the next. I really like the series so far.
I'm reading The Third Secret by Steve Berry. It's a lot like the Da Vinci code as far as a church cover up. Very good so far, and a really easy read. I'm hoping to finish it this weekend.
I've also got Anna Karenina sitting on my night stand. I needed to pay too much attention while I was in school to really get into it, so I'm hoping that now I'm done I can enjoy it more.

Thanks! I've never heard of Rilla before, but I'll look into it.
I actually had to buy new copies of LOTR a few years back because my old ones had fallen apart, so I may be a little obsessed.

It's the last book of the Anne of Green Gables series. I love it, too! Most people only read the first or the first two books of the series.
