f/u on new ring

the top ring is mine, obviously. the bottom is the one i was thinking i wanted.

h & i met at the jewelry shop on lunch and although i love it, we both decided not to switch it out today. he mentioned that he has no attachment to the ring because he went in knowing that we'd upgrade the diamond and such in a few years. he seemed apprehensive and finally told me he just didn't think we'd be doing this so soon after we've been married. i agreed. so we'll keep it until later.

I agree about not doing it so soon after you got married too. I still say that this is a perfect anniversary thing.

i never thought the bottom was my style either, too dainty.. but now that i've lost some weight, i feel like i could do it. i dream of that ring, but it's the wrong time.

I think your current ring is nice, but the new one is a stunner. Still, I think waiting awhile is great...it would be a geat 5yr anniversary change.
