How to style this cardigan?

I have this cardigan -- the color is a deep purple, which doesn't show well in the photo, and the trim is silver. How could I wear this - maybe a gray or silver silk tank, and then gray trousers if wearing to work? I looked at target but didn't see anything, so I plan to try to find something online. Thanks!

A silver tank and grey trousers sounds perfect. How about black tank, skinny black jeans and silver shoes? I wear a dark purple suit with a pale pink shell.

Your thoughts sound on par. Other ideas might be a white and grey striped tee for a more casual look with jeans. Or other pattern that pulls in the purple or silver in some way (floral, metallic leopard for instance). Might be cute over the right dress too.
