Eyeliner

Now that I changed my hair back to brown, I feel like I need more eye makeup. Sounds weird? Yes it does

I hate eyeliner. I suck at applying it and I constantly rub my eyes (contacts) so should I avoid it? I wear mascara and a little eyeshadow (light colour..usually white, maybe that is 1984, but it works for me)
Any other options? Any tips?
If you want to suggest a cheapish one to try? In case I hate it, I dont want to go crazy Sephora. Drugstore brand is ideal
I think I will just do eyeliner for going out.

There are some great smudge-proof liners, but most won't stand up to a lot of eye rubbing. I'm going to think...

Sephora will take it back if you don't like it. But for drugstore, try the Loreal HIP brand. They have some good colors and decent staying power.

Tarte's Smolder Eyes liners might work well, but they're ridiculously pricey (over $20/pencil) for something you're trying to stay MM about.

The only liner I use that doesn't move when I rub my eyes is liquid eyeliner. It probably sounds crazy intimidating if you've never used it, but once you get the hang of it it's very easy.

I have dark eyelashes/hair, and I use black liquid eyeliner, but a dark brown might be good if your hair is a lighter brown. I have MAC right now, but I used to use a drugstore brand -- I think Revlon -- that was essentially the same. I just do a really small line right at my upper lash line. It makes a big difference.

I like the Urban Decay 24/7 liner. And Sephora is good about returns even if you've used it. I usually just line my upper lids for every day makeup. I also have super dark brown hair and eyes.
