I'm not going to the game today and thankfully have a meeting this afternoon up North so I won't be in traffic. I don't think I'll get to watch though, as I have soccer duty today for DD.
H and I decided we're going to go to the Blink 182 concert when they come here. Reminds me of high school, I used to have allll of their CDs!
I generally am not one to wish the summer away, but I think I'm looking forward to boots and scarves and all things pumpkin...this is likely stemming from the B&BW emails that are all about fall.

No. Go away sotally tober. Summer forever. Or at least no school forever. I'll take that. Tman and I discussed homeschooling again last night.
The funny thing is we went to orientation on Tuesday and all his classmates like RAN to him and were so excited to see him again. We had considered putting him in another school this year, so they weren't expecting him back. But even with all his friends so happy to see him, he is still sad about not spending as much time with his mom when he goes back to school. Aww. But I truly think that he needs to be at school. I think homeschooling is great for many families, but Tman is so social and being an only child, I think it would be torture for him - even if we were involved in homeschool co-ops and stuff.
I'm home today. Getting tman ready for another weekend of camping. This kid is camping his brains out.
Need to do some housework as well, but James just got home from work, so I have to do something away from the bedroom and reasonably quiet so he can go back to sleep. Maybe Tman and I will go to a movie. Gotta get in a few more fun things before he starts school next Wed.

So cute! It always makes me smile to see all of DD's friends running up to her at school functions. So cute. They seriously grow up so fast. I was at soccer practice last week watching her and while some days I hate sitting there for an hour and a half, I quickly reminded myself that she won't be doing this forever so I should enjoy it while I have it. Which reminds me, FB just posted a memory pic from 4 years ago when she was in cheer and she was so tiny. The time really goes so fast
Hey guys heard from spa she had lost her phone and has been going through a bit. Baby was jaundice and had broken arm from delivery they have had to go back to the hospital. She is hoping to check in soon and post pix. Keep her and the fam in your thoughts and prayers.
aww what a rough thing to deal with, sending big hugs and healing baby vibes spa.
sotally tober, I'm with you on the wanting Fall. Its my favorite and I am more than ready for it!
Had J's therapy this morning and made a trip to costco since we were local. Came home and decided to let the kids play in the pool for a bit before it gets too hot and now i'm about to put 2 of 3 down for a nap. Then its garden watering and working out.
I'll take some good vibes if anyone has them. H sent in a resume for a job opening he heard about. We don't know the pay yet though and are really hoping its enough to make the change worth it and then of course that he gets it. He has a lot in his favor resume wise and such. We could really use a move and this would move us down south further.
