Blue Friday (where's the wine?)

OMG most heartbreaking thing happened yesterday. DD was supposed to be cat-sitting for the neighbor, but she has been so busy with soccer and sleepovers, that I have done the cat-sitting for her.
Yesterday, I went to check on/feed the cat and I noticed he was laying on the ground and wouldn't get up, but was meowing. I gave him more food and fresh water and a treat, and he still wouldn't get up. So I watered the plants, etc. and still nothing. I noticed his entire back end looked weird and went and grabbed H to come see what was going on. Well, his entire back end was almost like paralyzed and he was scootching himself across the floor. I called the neighbor who is on vaca and she called her son to take him to the emergency vet...she left me a  VM late last night that they had to put him down as he had a blood clot I am absolutely heartbroken as she was clearly upset. I feel horrible. Ugh. DD still doesn't know about it since she's at her friends house still, but H doesn't think I should tell her - so we disagree on that because I really think she should know.

Then, DD was supposed to go to her old daycare lady's house today but since she ended up at another sleepover, I had to text old daycare and cancel. She gave me this HUGE guilt trip, saying "so disappointing." I'm so annoyed, DD has new friends that are more her age than those she knew at old daycare. 

Sorry for the novel, but TGIF and I need all the wine today.

I'm sorry sotally tober. That is heartbreaking. And poor neighbor. She is not going to enjoy her vacation at all.

Why was the daycare lady disappointed? I don't get it. Was she going for a visit and the lady is disappointed because she was looking forward to it or was she going there to be "watched" for the day and the lady is disappointed for not getting the $?

Fun game to watch last night.

Taking Tman to his camp tonight. I decided to drive him because he can get car sick and it's supposed to be really hot and we are going to JBLM, so traffic is going to be a nightmare. He's happy to be able to ride in the care instead of a van full of boys.

Feeling sad about school starting next week. It will be good for Tman to use his brain a little bit again, though.

georgeharrison, at least it was the end of neighbors vacation...still, I'm so heartbroken for her. Daycare lady wasn't getting paid, she is "disappointed" that my DD won't be there to play with one of the other kids that knew DD....however, she's quite younger and way more immature than DD so they struggle anyway. I just think it's ridiculous to guilt trip me for her not going over there. DD has lots of new friends through soccer and since we have moved, I get trying to keep the old friendships, but these new ones are really important, too. I suggested another day next week, but she was still "disappointed."

Have a fun drive with your boy! I love car time with DD to just chat.

Hi, we are relaxing today. Might go back out and play in the pool before it gets too hot but besides that just trying to keep everyone content and cool for the day. Its the only day of the week we have free so laundry and planning for me.

georgeharrison, what time are you driving down? The worst will be going through tacoma and everything around the dome. I think I heard they are condensing lanes this weekend or something like that, not sure if it starts today or tomorrow.

sotally tober, poor neighbor. I bet coming home will be hard, but at least you guys were checking in on him and he wasn't left there suffering until she got home or until he passed on his own.

@lauralynne, you haven't mentioned anything about that, how exciting! How did that come about?

5:30pm.  Are you jealous?  It should be quite a nightmare.  But, it would be worse if Tman were in the van and barfed.

hahaha SOO jealous! I LOVE I-5, in a lets set it on fire sort of way  Yeah traffic will be peak around that time. I can totally understand driving him with the heat and if it can make him sick normally he would probably get sick sitting in the traffic in a hot muggy van filled.  It should't be horrible around JBLM though, thats long enough after the main get offs and the next one I think is around 6 so at least theres that! lol

Dudes I a wiped today. More box moving today. Boss's boss's boss's boss coming to the facility Monday. Wanted to get everything cleaned up. Will probably still do some stuff Monday morning. Or in the 8 min before I leave today.

Finally got all the boxed out our office that were unnecessary and into storage where there is now the room for them! Yay.

Chiro tonight which I am thankful for since I did a lot of lifting today. Bff birthday last minute tomorrow. Whee!
