Today is nine years since my last drink. Not posting this for any other reason than to reassure people visiting the Recovery Board that there is a solution. Waking up this morning, I felt so grateful for AA which literally saved my life. And for my AA friends who encourage me to be the very best me I can be! I don't know where I'd be today had I not taken action to get sober. There is a way out for people struggling with addictions. Not sure why I am one who got the gift of sobriety. I know I couldn't do it alone. Thanks to my friends on this board also. Even though not much happens here anymore, I'm leaving this as a message of hope!
