Oil sounds like it would be gross but it soaks in really quickly if you use it after a shower. Once it's back under control I revert to my usual lotion.

I use this body oil. It's a little expensive, but it's awesome. It's mostly Almond oil, which is very light and sinks in quickly. It also has the sweet smell that often accompanies Almond oil, which I know some people may not care for. But honestly, you could just go to a Health Food store and get some Almond or Jojoba oil. Jojoba is awesomer than Almond, but is also more expensive. I know coconut oil is really popular right now, and I'm sure someone will recommend that, but I like being contrary, so I haven't tried it for anything.
I use an argan oil serum for my face. For my body, I use coconut oil combined with a nice body cream that I slather on after my shower, but before I step out of there and finish drying off. I really need to remember to use lotion/oil after I wash my hands though...I wash my hands a lot and my hands and nails are not nearly as hydrated as the rest of my skin.

I'd like to thank you for suggesting this oil. It came in the mail yesterday and I'm already seeing results. I think if I keep applying it every day, my skin will be less alligator-sih. lol Oh, and the scent is heavenly!

Any kind of greasy or oily moisture barrier, after a bath or shower, will work. I use something like petroleum jelly (I add essential oil to make it smell nice) or Nivea, and apply it all over while I'm still damp. Works like a CHARM and very cheap.
