Friday Eve aka Thursday

H and I are painting this weekend and he was online yesterday and sent me the SW color of the year for 2017 and I think we're going to go for it. Originally, we were planning on a grey color, but this is totally out of my comfort zone and I think something I can use. All of the pictures I've seen with white trim and dark accents have looked really well with it. Fingers crossed it works out for us!

Other than that, not a lot going on. I have soccer duty for DD tonight and she's getting her new uniform for that.

Class tonight, Class tomorrow, Class x 2 on sat and class Sunday. My H leaves tomorrow for the weekend and I have the apt to myself.

Scentsy fall/winter catalog was released today and there are two new ish warmers I REALLY want. They were warmers of the month last year and added as a permanent catalog warmers this year... D says I don't need them... jerk. lol

I get to work from home tomorrow, but that means that I'll be spending a good portion of today coming up with things I can more on from home tomorrow. Ha.

Tman is leaving after lunch for his jr. high "advance" and won't be back until the end of school tomorrow. He seriously needs to quit leaving!

His first day of school yesterday went well. I asked him if homeschooling was off the table and he said, "Sorry to say, mom, but yes." So, that's a good sign. Of course they didn't really do any WORK yesterday, so it's still early to gauge if he actually is going to like it, but it's better than coming home the first day hating it, right?

Nothing going on tonight. I'll probably do some housework. Fun.

Huge difference than the grey we were leaning towards, but this will definitely mix it up a little. Plus, I was worried about it clashing with our current dark grey couch set. 

Also, I used to be a Scentsy consultant...I have ridiculous amounts of warmers but still always find another one that I "need". I always forget to change out the wax and really wish it lasted as long as it used to, back in the day. 


georgeharrison, I'm glad to hear that school is going well for your little man. Personally, I think not homeschooling only children is so huge because of the social skills. Actually, I still am so impressed at how well DD did when we changed her schools from moving...she has so many friends and I love that she's so aware of new kids too because she was once one of them, and ends up friends with them quite easily.

Oh yeah, the homeschooling thought is mostly in jest and Tman knows that.  It's more like, "I love you so bad and I can't stand for you to be away from me so much, so let's just sit on the couch all day in our pjs and hug and pretend to do school work."  Ha.  He is SUPER social and if, for some reason, we did end up having to homeschool him, we would have to find a VERY active homeschool co-op where he could interact with other kids.

It's sleep study day! I'm ridiculously excited but I'm so tired of being tired all the dang time. Getting this resolved will be such a huge leap in my health and general lifestyle. My best friend is worried I'm putting so much stock in this and what if I'm the small percentile that this doesn't solve...well then, at least they should know what steps to work on next. I feel like that little kid in the old Disney commercial "I'm too excited to sleep!" Hahaha. H is planning on coming up and we'll get dinner around Broadway somewhere so we at least see each other before I have to check in for my study at 7:30.

Counseling yesterday was fine. I talked about spiders a lot

I'll probably forget to check in tomorrow since I took the day off. Weekend plans are basically taking Ivan to the vet on Saturday for his annual shots and to get flea stuffs for his FIRST EVER fleas. Sigh. That's what he gets for having all that outside time! My only other plans are to try to get a handle on the grossness and pigsty levels of my house. My neck is bugging me so I'll only be able to work for 10-20 minutes before I get dizzy and have to lie down if it's stuff like laundry and involving a lot of looking down angles.

I can't believe September is here already. I had a pumpkin cream cheese muffin today. Enjoy your holiday weekend everyone!

I have nothing exciting to add. Met M's teacher today which was ok. She is nice but I don't have too high of hopes that M is going to learn a lot through school this year. The teacher seemed pretty surprised at how much she knew already so I guess we will see.

You will have to take it up with him because I don't want to. The ONLY time the stupid dentist had available to reschedule our appointments they had to cancel was the ONE DAY it would have worked in my schedule. Any other time is already booked or right in the middle of a class week when I need to spend all my time on homework.
