My classmates say I'm too modest, so I'll toot my horn here. I was nominated to be a part of the Student Leadership Academy at school. I have to apply, but the fact that our director of our mostly white school and the fact that there are only two black people left in our nursing class says a lot about what they think of me and my leadership skills.

My aunt told me this when I was home last. She actually said, "Niecey! What's going on, you're getting so fat, baby girl!" She weighs just under 100 pounds and works out 4-5 days a week, so there was nothing I could say but, "Yeah..."
