Ball & Knitting

I just found out DH needs to get to tonight's ball an hour before it starts. No idea why, but with traffic being what it is, that means I'll be getting there an hour before it starts, too (no point in driving separately, nor is there time to drop him off and come home to dress and head back).


I wonder if I can fit some knitting into my dress purse. I've done it before, but don't currently have a project on the needles that is small enough.

That sounds like a great way to kill the time before the thing starts.

But then again, I would rather sit in the car and knit than attend the stupid function. (I don't understand the point of balls. They make me stabby)

I'll admit, balls seem a bit excessive to me, but I've never been the type of woman that enjoys getting dressed up...

I brought the knitting, and got a bit of it done in the car on the way there, and while waiting for the event to start. It barely fit in the purse.
