When would you go to the dr?

I have a stye. This is the third day and holy hell, it hurts and itches bad. I've been doing a warm compress at night. It should resolve itself, right?

Have you tried using a warm teabag? That's what I do (per my mom's advice) and it usually helps.

Compresses as warm as you can as often as you can. Sorry, styles suck.

Have you tried baby shampoo? I rub the area with baby shampoo and warm water then I use a warm compress. I get them all the time.

Mine alway resolve in a few days with lots of warm compresses.

Which is good, because stye rhymes with a lot of things and I basically spend two days making up jingles about a style in my eye and how I might die or maybe get high, lyin' stye.

I bought some over the counter stuff for my kid when he had one, worked within a day. I think it is called stye away.

My exH used to get them all the time, so his eye doctor recommended he use one of these:

Yes! When I had pink eye, I put some in my eye. It didn't make the pink eye go away but it did help a lot with the pain!

Hell yeah. I know that brest milk cures everything is a bit of a joke around here but it's great for topical stuff. It clears up infected cuts, hang nails, and sores really quickly. I'm not feeding it to my sick relatives in lieu of chemo.
