I've read almost all the big-name series as well as some lesser known. I'm itching to get back to my favorite genre, but I've picked through a lot of it. I have First Grave on the Right on hold to try, but I need an audio book to start. PNRs are fine too, but I really love a good Urban Fantasy.
A few that I've liked are:
Mercy Thompson (and Spinoffs) Kate Daniels Riley Jenson Fever Chicagoland Night Huntress (and Spinoffs)
Dark-hunter/Were-hunter/Dream-hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon Succubus Blues/Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead
I've started both of those and never went back after the second book. No good reason, either! I've loved Richelle Meads other stuff. Especially Dark Swan. I'm going to see if my library has the audio on the Georgina Kincaid books. Thanks!
I was going to suggest Chicagoland and see you've read them.
Have you tried the Black Dagger Brotherhood ones? I actually liked Chicagoland a bit better but they are pretty good, honestly.
Yep, I'm only one book behind on BDB. In hindsight, I think I liked Chicagoland a bit better too. I think BDB probably should have stopped at book 8. You know it's bad when they start recycling characters!
Have you read any of Charles de Lint's books? There are a number of stories in his Newford series.
My library doesn't have this either! You'd think the Boston electronic selection would have it, but they seem to not have a great selection in this genre besides the best selling series. BOOO!

To be fair, he was probably most popular in the '90s, so it isn't a huge surprise that his stuff isn't in wide circulation anymore.
How about Nalini Singh's Archangel series? It gets better as it goes on. Burn for Me or the Innkeeper series by Ilona Andrews?
I've read at least the first book, but I really just thought it was only OK. I'm glad to hear that it gets better as is goes on because I really enjoy Pshy/Changling and her Rock Series.
I'm on pins and needles waiting for the second in the Burn for Series. I LOVED it.

Me too!!! When she announced it wouldn't be until 2017 I was quite sad. But it'll be worth the wait I am sure
