A friend of mine at work is having a baby, well, his wife is. So I'm asking him today "how many weeks?" and he's like, "uhhh..." And I told him I'll be asking that a lot, so try to keep up, mmkay?
My husband doesn't get the whole 40 weeks and how that is considered 9 months. He's an accountant, and amazing at doing math in his head, but he looks at me like I have two heads when I say I'm 16 weeks. Yesterday I said "we're 40% of the way there." He seemed to get that.
The other day I created a list of projects around the house I want to get done before the baby gets here. I then split it into things that I can do now, while I still have balance, and projects that are better for when I won't have a ton of balance. I was thinking it's awhile before the baby gets here, I have plenty of time, but now I'm thinking how the heck am I going to get this stuff done before February? Yeah - I think the list will be cut quite a bit.
