How awful is Jersey week?

I never even considered it but I really want a do over of our trip and mh said he will never go in August again. I'm a teacher so my options are really limited. I think it would be less crowded than Thanksgiving, winter break or spring break and I'm guessing the weather the first week or so of November is decent. Worth trying?

I would try it. I've never been during Jersey week, but would imagine that it would be less crowded since kids are back in school and it's not a big vacation time since the holidays are coming up.

We've been during "Jersey Week" several times, though we're not from Jersey. I never found it to be super crazy. Maybe a little busier than the rest of November, but it's not crazy crowds, and the weather is perfect.

I've never heard of Jersey Week so it can't be all that bad! (I'm going during Christmas so don't trust me.)

We're going the same week. I think it may be busier than usual this year, because it coincides with Election Day and Veteran's Day, and a lot of school systems have those days off. But it's got to be better than the week of Christmas/New Year's and Spring Break, which are our other options.
