I'm glad it's not in the high 80s-90s but I'm not glad to come out to a dew covered car in the morning. I'm nowhere near ready for that to quickly segue into needing to be scraped. Had a decent weekend. Gaming went until midnight on Friday so I was dead exhausted on Saturday and other than 2 loads or laundry, didn't do much besides play some video games and snuggle the cat. H had left early to go to a pinball tournament out in Bremerton or something. It was free Overwatch weekend on PlayStation so we downloaded that to try out and H ended up buying it. I kind of enjoy it but super-suck and can't do more than play against the AI. Sunday I managed to get out in the yard for an hour and dig up a stupid holly tree baby that was getting a foothold, and rip out some ivy. I really want to get the stupid mulch OUT of the driveway and spread around. I wish H hadn't ordered it LAST YEAR as I somehow knew he'd never actually get it put out. I'd like our driveway back though. Going to see about trying to get a massage tonight as I've been kind of permanently low-grade headachey.
Back at home after a fun weekend in DC. Gonna hit the gym, run outside and work on my tan lines. oh and call and schedule with fertility doctor's gonna reevaluate options
Nothing exciting here. I have therapy with J in a few. As of Friday we were 3 days in Kindergarten and she already got a cold and a huge obnoxious fundraiser packet for a bunch of junk.
I am hoping my garden survives these colder nights for a little bit. I have a handful of watermelon soooo close to being ready to pick, they just need a little more time. I'm bummed about my pumpkins this year though, last year we has 2 plants and we got 2 pumpkins. This year, 5 plants and 1 pumpkin so far. At least its good for cooking with.
I am so sore right now. I started p90x3 and it's killing me (in a good way) but now my coffee is too heavy. This is a real problem guys. In good news the kindergarteners I have been helping with only melted down for a second this morning and then happily played in class...instead of telling me I *had* to call mommy NOW because they wanted to go home and watch Doc McStuffins.

Welcome mryrcn! You're going to love it here! My bro grew up here, but has been living in Texas for the last 15 years. He came up early summer for his first visit in a long time and he was saying, "Oh man, this is awesome" to like EVERYTHING he saw. He loved that it wasn't super hot, that he could spend time outside, that things are green, that we have mountains, etc. I hope you enjoy everything Seattle has to offer.
My weekend was decent. I know I brag about this every fall, but you guys, my kid is a selling machine. This boyscout popcorn is not a good "value," but he manages to sell it like crazy. He sold over $1k this weekend. He's less than $300 from his goal. So, we spent a few hours/day doing that.
We went to the beach on Saturday afternoon/evening. It was a great day for it. Tman found a friend and they played in the water and built a fort. He's the anti-me. When I was a kid, I'd cry if a strange kid talked to me. Tman just makes best friends with them.
We watched most of the game yesterday and then had to be at a local Fred Meyer for popcorn at 4pm, so we missed the winning drive (watching carefully on our phones for updates). When the Hawks lose, people are really grouchy and don't buy popcorn, but thankfully those little turkeys pulled out the win. Fingers crossed for #3s ankle.
In the office today, working from home tomorrow.
We have a boy scout year kick-off picnic this evening. It's going to be chilly. Boo to that, but hopefully it won't be too miserable.
mrslefty, I only like the gardens that produce things I can eat. Those I can help with. Gardens of flowers and such, done to look pretty I am out on. lol As for the coffee, get a straw no lifting needed. Then just remembers it hurts so good

Hello! I've been running around at work quite a bit today. Tomorrow will be the same and then a day of normalcy before heading out of town Thurs and Fri.
So glad the Hawks pulled of the win...I forgot how stressful games are and proceeded to drink too much wine, resulting in feeling groggy this morning.
Good afternoon. Late check in here. Came in to work late because it was nephews first day of school. Class tonight. Now picking up and going to class 4 days a week. Need to get a few things done before leaving today in 35 min.
