Lately my Yahoo IM has been on fire with spammers wanting to chat. It's annoying and, to be honest, I don't know how to stop it.

I've been getting hit up with it on gChat as well. Part of me really wants to accept it and ask "Who the fuck are you?" but I also don't want any of my info going to these people either.

Weird: I've never had that happen on gchat, but yeah, it happens all the time on yahoo.

I had the same problem for a while. I never knew how to fix it, but fortunately I fell off the radar and the spammers stopped.
