Anyone know of available daycare spots?

Hi All,

I live in Reading and am in desperate need for a home daycare for my 18 month old daughter. The place she currently is in is closing to pt kids.

We need care M,T,Th and F fulldays. We'd be open to all surrounding areas such as Wakefield, Stoneham and Woburn.

Have you tried the Y branches?
The Stoneham parents facebook page may be a good place to post- I've seen requests from parents and also in-home centers there.

Also, there's a babysitter page, but that may just be nanny situations. Worth a shot, though.

The babysitting one is a closed group, but I don't get the feeling it's particularly exclusive.

I'm mostly a lurker, but if you are willing to travel a bit, you might want to check out Somerville Childcare Center in Somerville. You don't need to be a Somerville resident to enroll.
