All doorbell noises should be banned from commercials and/or tv shows. It drives my dogs crazy!

We have never even had a doorbell on our house and our dogs freak out! I think it's gotta be genetic or something. I vote yay for this law!

I fully support this. Even more, the random dog barking sound effects, and as cute as I think they are, the Subaru dog commercials. My Cairn goes crazy!

This would totally have my support. I'd also add kitten meowing since it makes Archie want to find the kittens and love them.

Yes! My grandma is a big Price is Right fan and our dog things the DING sound when they flip the answers is a doorbell. She goes crazy!

Haha, I agree! My dog goes nuts when there's a doorbell on TV, and we usually have to open the door to prove to him that nobody's there to get him to stop barking or sitting at the door.

My doorbell sounds the same as the doorbell on "Frasier" and every time someone hits the doorbell on that show my dog goes nuts. I took her for a walk one afternoon and for some reason decided to go back in through the front door, which is always locked, instead os the back door, which is always open. so I rang the bell like any normal person would, but the dog went ballistic. Barking like a madman, jumping at the doorknob, scratching to get to whoever was behind the door. Idiot dog.

I agree! Our house doesn't even have a doorbell -- why does he associate it with someone being at the door? It must be built in to their knowledge base!
