I need more music to listen to for different moods/activities.
What do you listen to and when?
I do Missy Elliott radio a lot when I'm trying to motivate myself to clean (or when I'm trying to dance and embarrass DD) but I'm getting bored with the lack of variety.
Feelin' good station was nice mix of old hits, Etta James, Sam Cooke, Stevie...
I've mentioned that I'm old (43) so old school hip hop is what I "grew up" with but I haven't found a good station yet but admittedly haven't searched that hard.
Sometimes at work I do very chill hipster bands like Fleet Foxes, stuff that doesn't really register in my brain and is just more like background noise.
I mostly listen to it at work, so I only have a few I rotate through
Right now I am listening to a Nas station thanks to sfy
Before that I was listening to a Downton Abbey station which really just plays soundtracks to tv shows and movies so it's more instrumental and I can tune out and focus while working.
Sometimes I listen to a "Contemporary Bollywood" station.
Finally, I have a Michael Buble station because that dude can sing (in my opinion). I usually get a mix of Frank Sinatra, Etta James, etc. from there.
Ludacris - Has lots of 90s and early 2000 hip hop/rap Missy Elliot - You have that covered 90s Alternative - because I need it in my life Paint it Black - that's for my classic rock fix
I just created a Cisco station on Pandora and I like it so far for the older R&B type music. Jodeci popped up on it the last time i listened. DMX radio is OK too as is Destiny's Child. I just throw in an artist for whatever type of music I am into and go from there.

Oh shit, now I have Cry for you stuck in my head...
I mostly use my own stations that I created on Pandora, but other than that, I have : Salsa Radio 60s, 70s, and 80s hits radio Gloria Estefan Radio Ben Folds Radio Today's Top Hits Radio 80s Pop Radio Nirvana Radio
and some other random ones based on my wanting to listen to a particular artist at any given time.
I will say that I am really loving Amazon music streaming lately. I missed being able to listen to entire albums since I don't have space in my phone for music and don't have an iPod or anything like that. So since going to the Jenny Lewis show last week I have been listening to all Jenny Lewis and Rilo Kiley albums on there!
ETA: Most of my music listening happens in the car, so I like stuff I can sing along to, haha. I also have a musical theatre station I created for when I REALLY want to sing.
When I am cleaning/cooking/not in the mood to sing in the car, I will listen to podcasts. Lately, I'm liking:
Sooo Many White Guys (Phoebe Robinson's new podcast). 2 Dope Queens (Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams) This Week In Drugs (my friends' podcast) You made it Weird with Pete Holmes (These get super long and sometimes boring, but when they are good, they are REALLY good) Invisibilia Radiolab This American Life Ask Me Another (trivia)
I used to have Pop Culture Happy hour and another pop culture one but I got tired of those.
