How to style booties?

Specifically the Sam Edelman Petty booties. I've been eyeing these for a couple years, but wouldn't pull the trigger because I don't really know how to style them. So, could you show me how you style them?

I like them best with cuffed jeans.

I've had the most luck with cuffed skinny jeans, dresses, and leggings. The one big fail I've had with them is work pants and I think it's because even though my work pants are skinny leg, the ankle isn't quite as skinny as my skinny jeans. It just doesn't quite look right.

Those are the ones I'm leaning towards! It seems like a good compromise between brown and grey and they will go with so much.

I feel most comfortable in booties with leggings. While I love the cuffed jeans look on others, it's not for me unfortunately.

I managed to snag a pair in putty this past spring from Nords Rack. $50 vs. $150.

I plan on wearing them w/dresses, cuffed jeans and leggings this year. Can't wait for it to get cooler so I can wear all my fall stuff.

I wear ankle boots with jeans. I never wear tall boots and never wear boots with skirts or dresses, so it's very easy.
