I was dead set on AOA (LM room) but now I'm second guessing.
We are going 4/29-5/6. Me, H, DS (7), DD (5). DD is princess obsessed and really likes Ariel. H and I have a king bed and it's sometimes not big enough. My kids do not sleep well together and are annoying when they sleep with us.
AOA Better themeing for the kids (though we don't plan to spend a ton of time there) $300 cheaper Dedicated buses Better food reviews (though we will mostly be eating in the parks) Long walk from room to food/bus/pool
CBR Queen size beds and a pull down bed for one of the kids Water slide Reviews say resort bus is really slow
So basically the sleeping situation is my only concern. Would that be enough to push you to CBR? Has anyone stayed at both and prefer one over the other? Am I over thinking this? (The answer is yes)
The bed situation is annoying, but it's not worth 300.00 to upgrade to CBR. Is there a discount for CBR out right now? That is more likely to have a discount than AOA.

I haven't seen a discount. If one comes out after I book, is it easy to change reservations?

yes, when are you going? Sometimes if you book a package ( tickets, and room or tickets and room and dining) and then the ticket price increases for your dates, the discounted package will stick you with increased ticket prices ( can still be cheaper though)

We are planning the first week in May. I was thinking of doing a TA but I really like planninh trips so I would want to do all the ADRs and FP. But it would be nice to have a TA check for discounts.
I didn't realize CBR had upgraded to queens. Is AoA full beds? Full beds are a deal breaker for me.
There will probably be some sort of deal for May, so I would book both now to hold the reservation and keep checking back for discounts.
We always rent a car and use it along with the buses depending on what park we are visiting. Car rental is cheap in MCO, we rented for 6 days for $76 through Costco.

I'd pay the $300 to upgrade if there are queens (I remember reading they were going to switch to queens at CBR). BUT I bet you'll end up finding a discount when they release them in (I think) Januaryish. So it will be even less to upgrade.
We're staying in a LM in November for 3 nights and I'm honestly terrified. My kids will not sleep in the same bed. My husband is 6'5 so fulls are basically the worst thing ever for him. Its the end of a birthday trip for both my girls though (we're doing 8 nights in a 1 bedroom at BLT before the AoA portion) and my girls have been talking about AoA every time they see it on the disney channel and I need to reign in trip costs since its such a long trip and I don't want to pay for a family suite.

We're doing CBR this fall. The pool area is better- my kids will enjoy the splash area, the zero entry pool and they also really like the hot tub. With that plus queen size beds, it was easy for me to decide. We stayed there before and I don't remember any issues with the buses, but we live in a city and take public transportation frequently, so we are very forgiving to any issues.

LM rooms at AoA are frequently excluded from discounts, whereas CBR is always included. It sounds like your family could use the extra bed space. I'm not sure if all the CBR rooms have the Murphy bed; it *may* be a request if you don't have five people in the room.

The description says pull down bed and this looks like what it is.
So looks like a toddler size bed which my 5 year old would probably fit in.

The pull down at the Poly looks exactly like this. My 5 foot 4 130 lb Mom slept in it every night ( Don't ask me why?? there was a whole other couch bed she could have slept on. )
It fits a small adult.
Have you thought about maybe renting points? I know I am a broken record in this regard, but it CAN be cheaper. If you PM me your dates, I can look into availability for you.
I'd do CBR no question (or rent points) the bed size at the values rules them out for us. My 6 year old who is in the 99th percentile for height has slept in the trundles the last 2 years, he loves them (at POR)
