I've skipped a few pages, so maybe this has been clarified. But when the OP says "the n word" my mind immediately translates what that word is inside my brain. If someone refers to "n*****" without the astrick my mind skips the translation. So either way, word is in my head. If she was discussing the fact that she was upset the word is used, how is that racist?
How YOUR mind processes it isn't the focal point here.

Because WHITE PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER USE, SAY, OR TYPE THAT WORD IN ANY CONTEXT.

The WOC on this board and in ALL OF SOCIETY have made it clear that is an unacceptable word no matter the context. How is using it NOT racist?

Because she didn't say "the n word." Or use asterisks. If she's upset the word is used, then why the fuck would she continue to use it?

oh yay! So glad you weighed in! And of course it has been neither covered nor clarified because it's fucking stupid. Thanks for your "contribution".

Why did she, or does anyone, need to use that word? It's not necessary - at all. And if she had pulled her head out her ass, maybe she would have realized how hurtful that word is. Maybe, but probably not.

Because the use of that word by white people is racist. The end. It just doesn't fucking matter how it is in your head. Christ.

There is never an excuse for that word This past week has been so disappointing and frustrating. And we are just a minute sample of women posting in a nanosecond of time. One of my biggest takeaways has been dealing with these kind of attitudes and thoughtless words is every day life for WOC. Every. Day. Forever. It's staggering.

No wayyy, she's a totally enlightened liberal white lady who can fly all over the world and have tons of no strings sex and cares deeply about important issues like purses and pools and *high pitched whine*

Oh, man. I'm going to be psyched as hell if stpete gets gone from this as well. When I'm on the app and the most recent poster's name is next to the post title, instead of the OP, I can still tell it's one of hers by how attention-seeking it is.
