I'm super disappointed my rain boots. I got them maybe 2 years ago and both are cracked. They are Chooka, so I thought they would be at least a little nicer than cheapo ones, but maybe not. I've been able to repair them with shoe good (which works really well!), but if they just keep cracking in different places then I might just need to replace them.

So... I was at the Rack today and found some TB ones they're so pretty though!
I can see myself basically just styling them like I would my other boots, which is kind of nice because I obviously live somewhere where it rains a lot, lol. And I've been thinking about trying not to wear my Frye boots when it rains (especially on bad days) because I feel like it's so hard on them.
Also this is a PSA for short girls: because they angle down (outside is higher than inside) it hits right below my knees! So that was kind of another reason to pull the trigger because a lot of them (I think Hunters included) are pretty tall.
I've had my Hunter's for about 5 years. I wear them a lot, especially in the winter and spring. I use the Hunter rubber spray on them every once in awhile and they look like new.
I would get another pair, but I don't think I'd use them!

I have these, same style and color. They are TTS and very comfortable. No complaints! I've had them about 3 years now, and I receive compliments every time I wear them.
In 40 years I've literally never had rainboots before my Hunter's, so I don't have a basis for comparison. That said: I got mine a year ago, and I really like them a lot. I have worn them maybe, oh, 20 times? I don't see any problems with the craftmanship, I don't see any signs of cracking, etc. I wear a women's size 6 or 6.5 and I got kid Hunters.
I will say: I got glossy and was warned when I got them that they would bloom, etc. I have followed all sorts of different internet advice about cleaning them and I have never gotten them back to their original gloss. The bloom comes back regularly -- I really don't want to clean them every time I want to wear them. So that's a drag. I don't regret getting them, but I wish I had understood that the blooming was going to be a persistent, ongoing hassle.
On that note, does anyone have the Hunter brand boot cleaner stuff? I've been most recently using olive oil so maybe i'm just making things harder on myself?
