Is it Wednesday? I can't even think straight. I believe so or else M is going to be greatly late for class today. They have late start today so she won't start until 11:15. Seems pretty silly to me. 

Anyone else enjoying the cool crisp mornings/nights? I almost stayed outside a bit last night to enjoy it, but then I got cold.  I also believe its the last day of Summer so yay for Fall!

I'm not going to lie, I am loving this weather although we've been turning on the heat at night. We bought new patio furniture and hopefully can get it set up tonight. We have a covered porch so sitting out there when the weather is decent will be awesome. I need to stock up on some wine. You know. for patio drinking

I have to say that the idea of summer being over is like a kick in the guts. I love fall...love it, it's my favorite. But summer feels so free. Everything starts back up when school starts and we are busy, busy, busy. I can't imagine how it must be to have more than one school aged kid.

I don't know if anyone listens to This American Life on Pandora, but this week's episode really broke my heart and gave me a lot to think about.

Tman keeps getting class period tardies at school. I'm notified when he gets a tardy. Today he got his fourth for the school year already. I'm not sure what's up. He's going to get a detention for it. I am not really upset about the detention, it's just like 20 minutes after school or something, but I am wondering why he can't get in his seat by the time the bell rings. This week, it's been first period and I get him to school AT LEAST 20 minutes before school starts. Learning curve for middle school, I guess.

Feeling VERY low today. Not sure why. Combo of lots of stuff, I guess.

I love fall and then winter then spring. Summer is my least favorite I don't like being hot. I love the rain and snow... I am weird like that.

But it makes for good baking and cooking weather. Pho is not the same in the summer time.

I am going to surprise H and make carrot cake this week.. I just need to get enough motivation to go to the store to get carrots.

Sorry GH lots of hugs. I have those days usually when I think about going back to work. Sometimes baking works for me...creating something with my hands either with food or sewing or even those easier furniture projects... of course I have 10000 half done projects in my house.

mryrcn, pretty sure wine is a requirement for patio drinking, especially if you get to do it year round! I would love a big undercover patio, might need to put that on our next house must have.

georgeharrison, sending hugs. hopefully the feeling passes quickly.

spa, I don't think you are weird at all. I am the exact same. I love fall, winter and spring and not so much summer because I too hate being hot. Its why i've been so bummed these last couple winters that weren't really winter at all. I"m crossing everything for some good snow this year.

My kind of person right here. Have you been out to Woodinville yet? If the weather holds out this weekend, you should go and walk around. One day in the cute downtown-y area, and the other day in the warehouse district.

No not yet. Our remaining stuff arrives this weekend so I'm hoping to finish settling in next week & then start exploring. Thanks for the recommendation.
